10/10 ambiance. Cozy and beautiful dining space. There was a ton of holiday decor and dim (but not too dark) lighting in the main dining area. Our group of 5 shared 2 appetizers and everyone had different mains and desserts over the span of 3 hours. The service was slower than I would prefer, although it was a busy evening. I really enjoyed the brie in puff pastry. The duck breast and cabbage was mild in flavor and smaller portion than anticipated. Overall, it felt overpriced for the taste and service compared to other American restaurants but the atmosphere was lovely.

Besides this historical opulence and its breathtaking atmosphere the food if you couldn’t guess: was the best meal i’ve ever had. The waitstaff were meticulous, knowledgeable, personable, and certainly enjoyed where they worked. You can tell by the environment that this establishment is best in the world.

My husband and I enjoyed a delightful meal with great service by Nick Finnegan. The deviled eggs and butter lettuce salad were delicious starters. The salad was one of the best ever with fresh ingredients and a flavorful vinaigrette. The elk was tender and perfect for a fall main dish. The atmosphere with a warm fire and beautiful artwork was perfect.

From the start is was an amazing evening. Our server greeted us with complimentary Champaign to celebrate by brother’s wedding. They were attentive and also gave us plenty of space to be able to enjoy each meal. The appetizers arrived promptly and I could eat their spinach artichoke dip every day of my life! We each ordered a different entrée, while the dishes may be a little dated the flavor and cook was great. We brought in a cake from a local bakery and the server plated and served us at the end of our meal. Genuinely such an amazing experience especially for such a special day. Highly recommend for any special occasion celebration!

I've been meaning to write this review for eons, but I'm a procrastinator. We held a bridal shower brunch for our dear friends this past April at WA Frost in the Fireside Room and it was nothing short of perfect! We worked with Julia to coordinate the event and she was extremely helpful, patient, and easy to work with. The venue and room itself was exactly what we were looking for. It was intimate and private, beautiful and atmospheric. It was cozy, warm, and matched our vision exactly. Jen was our server and WOW I seriously cannot say enough wonderful things about her. She was able to manage a large group event so gracefully. She was incredibly attentive while mostly operating in the background. She kept our event running smoothly and on time without us really having to think about it. She was friendly, welcoming, patient, and professional. She made the whole thing seamless and easy, and we seriously cannot thank her enough! The food was excellent, cake was divine, and the drinks were incredible! WA Frost made our event magical for our brides and guests. It was honestly the best day ever and everyone left feeling warm and giddy. Thanks to everyone that made our party so special! I recommend WA Frost to everyone for events, and I will definitely host future events here in the future!

The bone marrow appetizer was so much better than the other time I tried bone marrow at a different restaurant! My fish was very good, but my husband was very disappointed in the prime rib sandwich and the charcuterie and deviled egg appetizers were disappointing. Beautiful outdoor patio and excellent service.

Amazing place! Indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outdoors and it was so beautiful. Trees and flowers galore! Service was great with solid recommendations, drinks were good, and food was delicious. Can't ask for much more! We explored the inside and it was so cool! It's a registered historical site. Beautiful spot.
